New Site

foxden.one was created with the Zola static site generator and using my own HTML and CSS. The only real reason I used an SSG is because I really hate writting blog posts in pure HTML and Zola allows you to write them in Markdown. Many other SSGs allow you to do this as well but I find Zola the most straightforward to get going.

In terms of graphics, here is a list of resources I used:

The background is just some symbols that are often used in programming. It was made in Affinity which is a goated Adobe Ilustrator/Photoshop alternative (and it's free). You can check out the source code of the whole site here.

I think overall it turned out nicely and I'm hoping I can stick with this design for more than 2 weeks.
